Garden Visits

When: Monthly on Wednesday afternoons
or Thursday afternoons (April to September)
Cost: According to the entrance fee and usually includes a hot drink and a cake. For visits further afield, lunch is an optional extra

The Garden Visits are open to all members of the u3a, and we aim to visit a range of different gardens each year.

Gardens we have visited (or planned to visit) include:

  • Arley Arboretum
  • Ashwood Nurseries
  • Badge Court
  • Croome Walled Garden
  • Little Malvern Court
  • Morton Hall
  • Painswick Ricoco Garden
  • Stockton Bury Gardens
  • Westonbury Mill
  • White Cottage Nursery
  • Whitlenge Gardens

Usually, a minimum of 10 members are required for each visit, and bookings and payments for visits need to be made in advance to ensure a place. Payment may also be made at the Monthly Meeting. Transport is in the form of a car share starting from Droitwich Leisure Centre, rear car park.
